FLORIDA STATE COLLECTION OF ARTHROPODS

The Florida State Collection of Arthropods (FSCA) in Gainesville, Florida is the largest collection of arthropods in the southeastern United States. Located in the McGuire Center for Lepidoptera and Biodiversity at the University of Florida, the FSCA houses over 1.5 million specimens of insects, spiders, and other arthropods. The collection is both taxonomically and geographically diverse, representing every continent and nearly every state in the United States.

The FSCA is part of the Florida State Collection of Arthropods, a network of over 10 collections and research centers around Florida.
