The Hollywood Historical Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of Hollywood, Florida. Established in 1974, the Society operates a museum and research center located in the heart of downtown Hollywood. The museum features exhibits and artifacts that showcase the city's rich history, including its early days as a small agricultural community, the establishment of the first hotel and beach, and the development of the city's iconic architecture and entertainment industry.

In addition to the museum, the Society offers a variety of programs and events to promote community awareness and appreciation of Hollywood's history.
