The Cool Water Historic Foundation Inc. (CWHF) is a non-profit organization based in West Palm Beach, Florida. It was founded in 2020 with the mission to preserve and promote the history of the Florida Everglades and its surrounding ecosystems. CWHF works to educate the public about the importance of preserving our natural resources, and to ensure that future generations will have access to them.
CWHF’s primary focus is to protect and preserve the unique ecosystems of the Florida Everglades. Through research, education, and advocacy, CWHF works to raise awareness of the importance of preserving our natural resources. CWHF also works with local communities to develop strategies for protecting the environment.
CWHF has a number of initiatives to promote environmental awareness. Through its Cool Water Environmental Summer Camps, CWHF provides educational opportunities for children and adults to learn about the Everglades and its ecosystems. The organization also hosts public events such as lectures, film screenings, and art exhibitions to highlight the history and importance of the Everglades.
In addition to its educational and advocacy initiatives, CWHF also works to directly protect the Everglades. The organization works with state and local agencies to secure funding for the preservation of the Everglades. CWHF also works to develop partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and individuals to help protect the Everglades.
