Founded in 1997, the Fort Dupont Society (FDS) is a non-profit organization based in Wilmington, Delaware. The organization’s mission is to provide recreational and educational activities for residents of the city’s low-income neighborhoods. The FDS was founded in response to the lack of recreational activities for children in these neighborhoods, and to provide a safe and nurturing environment for youth development.

The FDS provides a variety of programs and services such as after-school programs, summer camps, sports and fitness programs, nutrition education, and community service projects.
