The Branford Electric Railway Association Inc. (BERA) is a non-profit organization located in East Haven, Connecticut. BERA was founded in 1978 and is dedicated to the preservation of the trolley car heritage of the greater New Haven area. BERA owns and operates 3 historic trolley cars, and makes them available for public use on regular weekends during the summer and fall.

BERA operates a museum, the Electric Railway Museum, which is open to the public and located on the grounds of the former Shore Line Trolley Museum. The museum contains a variety of artifacts, photographs, and other memorabilia, documenting the rich history of trolleys in the area.

BERA also offers educational programs and tours, allowing visitors to experience the history of the trolleys firsthand. The group holds special events throughout the year, such as an annual Trolley Festival in the summer, and a haunted trolley ride in the fall.

In addition to its own activities, BERA also works to promote public awareness of trolley and railway transportation in the area.
