The Logan County Historical Society Inc. (LCHS) is a non-profit organization located in Sterling, Colorado. The mission of the LCHS is to collect, preserve, and interpret the history of Logan County, Colorado. The Society was founded in 1958 and is supported by memberships, donations, and grants.

The Society currently has a museum located in Sterling that houses a variety of artifacts, photographs, documents, and other items of historical significance. The Society also operates a research library and archive, and operates an online database resource.

The museum offers educational programs and events throughout the year and provides educational materials for schools and other organizations. The Society also provides assistance to students, researchers and others in their research of Logan County history.

The LCHS also publishes a quarterly newsletter and is active in many community events and activities. The Society also maintains a variety of community partnerships, such as with the Sterling Public Schools and the Sterling Public Library.

The LCHS is committed to preserving, protecting, and sharing the history and heritage of Logan County, Colorado. The Society is dedicated to providing a comprehensive view of the past for the citizens of Logan County, and for those interested in the history of the region.
