The Weld County Historical Society is located in Greeley, Colorado and is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of Weld County. The society was founded in 1934 and has been collecting and preserving historical artifacts, documents and photographs since then. The Weld County Historical Society operates two historical sites: the Centennial Village Museum and the Plumb Farm Learning Center. The Centennial Village Museum is a living history museum that features over 35 historic buildings and structures that have been moved from their original locations to the museum grounds. The Plumb Farm Learning Center is a restored 1909 farmstead that provides educational programs and events for children and adults.

The Weld County Historical Society also operates a research library and archives that contains over 50,000 photographs, 4,000 books, and numerous documents and artifacts related to the history of Weld County. The society offers genealogy research services to its members and the public. The Weld County Historical Society publishes a quarterly newsletter and hosts monthly speakers and programs on various topics related to the history of Weld County. The society relies on the support of its members and volunteers to continue its mission of preserving and promoting the history of Weld County.
