The Simon Wiesenthal Center (SWC) is an international Jewish human rights organization based in Los Angeles, California. Established in 1977, the Center is named after Simon Wiesenthal, a Holocaust survivor who dedicated his life to documenting the Holocaust and promoting human rights.

The Center's mission is to confront anti-Semitism, hate and terrorism, promote human rights and dignity, and foster mutual understanding and respect among cultures and peoples. To this end, the SWC works to educate the public about the dangers of hate and intolerance, to fight discrimination and prejudice, and to promote tolerance and understanding.
