Angels Flight Railway Foundation is a nonprofit organization based in Los Angeles, California. Founded in 1901, the foundation has operated a funicular railway providing transportation between Hill Street and California Plaza in downtown Los Angeles for over a century. The railway is the world’s shortest railway, with a length of only 298 feet. The railway is composed of two counterbalanced cars, named Sinai and Olivet, which travel up and down a steep incline.
