LANTERMAN HOUSE is a historic landmark located in La Canada, California. The house was constructed in the early 1920s and was designed by noted architect Henry L.A. Monnier in the Spanish Colonial Revival style. It was built for Dr. Roy C. Lanterman, a prominent La Canada physician, and his wife, Frances. The house sits on over two acres of land and features brick-laid patios and terraces, a wood-shingled roof, and a detached two-car garage.

The main house is two stories and has a combination of stucco and wood-shingled facades. Inside, the house showcases the original woodwork and finishes, including a curved staircase, hardwood floors, and vaulted beamed ceilings. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are located on the first floor, as well as two bedrooms and a full bathroom. The second floor contains four bedrooms, a half bathroom, and a sunroom.

LANTERMAN HOUSE is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is owned and operated by the City of La Canada Flintridge. The house is open to the public for tours and special events. It is also home to the Lanterman Historical Museum, which features a historical collection of artifacts, photographs, and documents related to the Lanterman family and the history of La Canada.
