The Chatsworth Historical Society (CHS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the history and culture of Chatsworth, California. Founded in 1994, the Society works to document, preserve, and promote the heritage of Chatsworth, the oldest settlement in the San Fernando Valley.
CHS is located in Chatsworth Station, an historic train depot built in 1887 and now a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument. The Society's museum features a variety of exhibits and artifacts, including a large collection of photographs, maps, and other documents related to the history of Chatsworth. Visitors can also view a variety of artifacts related to early local industries, such as sheep and dairy farming.
