Bottle Village is a unique art installation located in Simi Valley, California. It was created over the course of 30 years by Tressa Prisbrey, a single mother who used more than 25,000 discarded bottles to create an entire village. The village consists of several buildings, including a house, a chapel, a wishing well, a museum, and a tower. Prisbrey used mostly glass bottles, but she also incorporated items such as metal cans and old toys into her creations. She covered her structures with cement and used colorful glass pieces to decorate the walls.

Bottle Village has become a local landmark in Simi Valley and is recognized as one of the most unique examples of folk art in the United States. The village was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974 and is now maintained by the Simi Valley Historical Society. Visitors can explore the village and admire Prisbrey's creativity. The village also serves as a reminder of how important it is to recycle and repurpose materials rather than throwing them away. Bottle Village is a unique and inspiring example of how creativity and resourcefulness can turn trash into a work of art.

This collection recreates and expands my original 2007 edition, comparing scenes from the movie with their real life counterparts, taken in 2017. Still my favorite movie, enjoy!
