INTERNATIONAL AEROSPACE HALL OF FAME

The International Aerospace Hall of Fame (IAHF) in San Diego, California is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history and honoring the achievements of the greatest pioneers of aviation, space exploration, and aeronautics. Established in 1960, the IAHF is located at the San Diego Air & Space Museum in Balboa Park and is one of the oldest and most respected aerospace halls of fame in the world.
The IAHF is comprised of more than 200 aerospace pioneers and innovators who are recognized for their significant contributions to the aerospace industry. The Hall of Fame honors these individuals who have made a lasting impact on the advancement of aerospace technology and exploration. Each year, IAHF holds an induction ceremony and awards banquet to recognize the contributions of its newest members.
The Hall of Fame also serves to educate the public through the display of artifacts, photographs, and personal histories of the individuals it honors. The IAHF also provides educational outreach activities and programs to schools, universities, and other institutions to further promote the history of the aerospace industry and its achievements.
The IAHF has also recognized a number of special events and anniversaries in aerospace history, such as the 50th anniversary of the first human spaceflight and the 75th anniversary of the Wright Brothers’ first flight. The IAHF also sponsors a number of awards and scholarships in the aerospace industry.
The International Aerospace Hall of Fame remains an important part of San Diego’s aerospace history and continues to honor those individuals who have made indelible contributions to the industry.
