The Manteca Historical Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history of the City of Manteca for generations to come. Founded in 1968, the Society is located in the restored one-room former Manteca Grammar School in downtown Manteca. The Society is dedicated to preserving the legacy and traditions of the past and educating the public about the heritage of the region.

The Museum is open to the public for free and offers a variety of exhibits and displays about the history of Manteca.
