The Narrow Gauge Preservation Foundation is a non-profit organization based in San Carlos, California, that is dedicated to preserving the history of narrow gauge railroads in the United States. The organization was founded in 1989 by a group of railroad enthusiasts who recognized the need to preserve and protect the remaining narrow gauge equipment and artifacts.
