LOWER LAKE HISTORICAL SCHOOL PRESERVATION COMMITTEE

LOWER LAKE, CA

Frogopolis At Kelsey Slough in Clear Lake State Park, California. We have come to this park for over 30 years and have never seen such an explosion in frog numbers. Usually we have to sit quietly for many minutes and hope that a single frog will move and reveal itself. This trip they were not even a bit bashful.

These frogs here were at most 1-1/2 inches long.
