The San Francisco History Association (SFHA) is located in South San Francisco, California and is dedicated to preserving, protecting and promoting the history of San Francisco and its surrounding areas. Established in 1981, the SFHA is a non-profit organization and is the oldest historical association in San Francisco.
The Association hosts a variety of activities that include historical walking tours, lectures, special events, and other educational activities. In addition, the organization has a library and archive which houses a collection of books, periodicals, and other documents about the history of San Francisco.
