The Mission Peak Heritage Foundation (MPHF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and protecting the natural, cultural and historic resources of Mission Peak and its surrounding areas in Fremont, California. Founded in 2007, the foundation works to preserve the natural beauty of the area, provide educational opportunities and promote sustainable use of the area’s resources. The foundation works with local, state and federal agencies, as well as private organizations, to protect the area and its resources.

MPHF is actively involved in the development and implementation of projects that will help protect the natural and cultural heritage of Mission Peak. The foundation works to preserve the area’s history, ecology and cultural resources through research, education, site visits, and on-site tours. The foundation also works to protect and promote the area’s recreational opportunities and provide access to the area’s trails and open spaces.

MPHF works to protect and enhance the local environment by advocating for sustainable land use practices, responsible recreation and conservation practices, and the protection of natural resources. The foundation also works to promote cultural resources, provide educational opportunities, and support public access to the area’s resources. Through its work, MPHF works to ensure that the area’s unique and special resources remain available for future generations to enjoy.
