The Committee for the Restoration of the Mission San Jose (CRMSJ) is a non-profit organization based in Fremont, California. Founded in 1979, the committee is dedicated to the preservation and restoration of the Mission San Jose, a historic Spanish mission located in Fremont's Mission Peak Regional Preserve. The mission was established in 1797 and is the 14th of the 21 California missions.

The CRMSJ's mission is to promote the mission's history, culture, and architecture by providing educational, cultural, and interpretive programs, as well as conducting archaeological and historical research. The organization also works to preserve the mission's original artifacts and documents.

The CRMSJ has been involved in a number of restoration projects, including the preservation and restoration of the mission's original adobe walls, the re-creation of a Native American interpretive garden, and the installation of a new roof. The organization also hosts a number of events throughout the year, including an annual mission fiesta, educational lectures and tours, and special exhibits.

The CRMSJ is funded by donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations, and is supported by over 200 members and volunteers. The organization continues to work towards the preservation and restoration of the Mission San Jose, and to promote the mission's rich history and culture.
