The Union Preservation Society Inc. is a non-profit organization based in Seale, Alabama. It was founded in 1974 to preserve and promote the history and culture of the Union Army in the Civil War. The Society is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and interpreting the history of the Union Army and its soldiers. It is also devoted to advancing public understanding and appreciation of this significant part of American history.

The Union Preservation Society Inc. is a volunteer organization and is funded by membership fees, donations, and grants. It owns and operates several historic sites and monuments, in addition to sponsoring educational programs and activities. The Society also works to protect and preserve the remaining battlefield sites, monuments, and cemeteries from destruction and vandalism.

The Union Preservation Society Inc. is active in the community, providing tours of Union sites and providing educational presentations about the role of the Union Army in the Civil War. The Society also works to promote and support activities and events related to the Union Army and its history.

The Union Preservation Society Inc. also works to preserve and protect Civil War artifacts and documents, as well as to promote research and education related to the Civil War. It has a library, which contains a variety of books and periodicals related to the Civil War, and also hosts lectures, seminars, and workshops. Additionally, the Society hosts an annual Civil War Reenactment.
