The MT HOREB Landmarks Foundation Inc in Mount Horeb WI is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the historic landmarks and sites of Mount Horeb. Founded in 1978, the foundation is dedicated to preserving the unique history and culture of the area.

The Mt. Horeb Landmarks Foundation is comprised of a volunteer board of directors and members. The board meets on a quarterly basis to discuss the projects they are working on to preserve and protect the historical sites in the area.

The foundation is responsible for the restoration of numerous historic properties in Mount Horeb WI. These include the Mount Horeb High School, the Old Post Office, the Historic Village and the Little Norway Museum. The foundation is also responsible for the preservation of numerous nearby historical sites, such as the Horeb dam, the Black Hawk Memorial, the Little Norway picnic grounds and the Horeb Lutheran Church.

The Mt. Horeb Landmarks Foundation works with both local and state government entities to acquire grants and other sources of funding for the restoration of historic properties. The foundation also works with local businesses to secure donations for their projects.

The Mt. Horeb Landmarks Foundation offers tours of the historic sites in the area and works with local schools to educate students about the history and culture of the area. In addition, the foundation hosts various events throughout the year, including their annual Historic Home Tour, which features homes from all eras of history.

The Mt. Horeb Landmarks Foundation is committed to preserving and protecting the history, culture and heritage of Mount Horeb WI. Through their efforts, the foundation strives to ensure that this unique area of Wisconsin is never forgotten.
