De Forest Historical Museum is a small museum located in DeForest, Wisconsin. The museum is housed in a former library building that was constructed in 1917. The museum has a collection of artifacts and exhibits that tell the story of DeForest's history and its people.

The museum's exhibits include displays on the Native American tribes that originally inhabited the area, the early pioneers who settled in DeForest, and the growth and development of the community over the years. There are also exhibits on local businesses, schools, and churches.

Some of the highlights of the museum's collection include a replica of an early 20th-century general store, a display of vintage farm equipment, and a collection of photographs and documents from DeForest's past. There is also a small research library with books and other materials on local history.

The museum is staffed by volunteers and is open to the public on Saturdays from 10am to 1pm. Admission is free, but donations are welcome. The museum also hosts special events and programs throughout the year, including lectures, workshops, and historical reenactments.
