The Land O Lakes Historical Society Inc. is a non-profit organization located in Land O Lakes, Wisconsin. Established in 1974, the mission of the Society is to preserve and promote the history and heritage of the Land O Lakes area. The Society collects, preserves, and exhibits artifacts, archives, and photographs related to the history of the area.

The Society maintains its own museum, located in a historic building built in the early 1900s. The museum includes a variety of displays, including a Native American exhibit, a local history room, and a library of historic documents. The museum also hosts a number of events throughout the year, such as lectures, presentations, and workshops.

Fish Trap Lake
New Kentuck Creek Culvert Thanks to funding from the Great American Outdoors Act, Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest staff replaced the old culvert and improved the road, which provides access to the Kentuck Lake Recreation Area. The new culvert will provide for flood resiliency and better passage for aquatic life over its expected 100-year lifespan. The improved road provides safer access for hunting, fishing, hiking and other recreational opportunities.
