New Kentuck Creek Culvert Thanks to funding from the Great American Outdoors Act, Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest staff replaced the old culvert and improved the road, which provides access to the Kentuck Lake Recreation Area. The new culvert will provide for flood resiliency and better passage for aquatic life over its expected 100-year lifespan. The improved road provides safer access for hunting, fishing, hiking and other recreational opportunities.
