The Ridge Route Communities Museum & Historical Society in Frazier Park, CA is dedicated to preserving the history of the area and the people who lived there. Founded in 1989, the museum is located in a former stagecoach station in the Los Padres National Forest. The museum houses an extensive collection of artifacts, photos and documents that tell the story of the area and its inhabitants, from the earliest Native American tribes to the early 20th century settlers who built the Ridge Route.

The museum also features a variety of interactive exhibits, including a replica of the original Ridge Route, a model of the early 20th century logging camp, and a model of a 1930s-era homestead. Other exhibits include a log cabin, a blacksmith shop, a one-room schoolhouse, a general store, and a potting shed. The museum also has a library and research room, where visitors can explore the area's history through books, documents, maps, photographs and other materials.

The museum's mission is to preserve and promote the history of the Ridge Route and its communities, so that future generations can learn from the past. The museum also offers educational programs, workshops and special events, such as an annual picnic, a Fourth of July celebration, and a special holiday event. In addition, the museum hosts visiting historians, authors and artists who share their knowledge and expertise with the community.
