The Marshall County Historical Society is a non-profit organization located in Moundsville, West Virginia. Founded in 1964, the society is dedicated to preserving and promoting the history and cultural heritage of Marshall County and its surrounding areas. The society operates out of the Cockayne Farmstead, a historic home built in 1850 that served as a stop on the Underground Railroad.

The Marshall County Historical Society maintains a collection of artifacts, documents, and photographs that help to tell the story of the area's history. The collection includes items related to the Native American inhabitants of the region, the early settlers and pioneers, and the growth and development of the county's industries, including coal mining and glass manufacturing.
