Fort Tejon Historical Association is a non-profit organization that was established in Lancaster, California to preserve and promote the historical significance of Fort Tejon, a former military post in the southern part of the state. The association was founded in 1962 and has since been dedicated to educating the public about the unique history of the fort and the surrounding region.

Fort Tejon was established in 1854 and served as a key military post during the period of western expansion in the mid-19th century. The fort played a significant role in protecting settlers and travelers on the El Camino Real and served as an important hub for trade and communication between northern and southern California.
