Fort Tejon Historical Association is a non-profit organization that was established in Lancaster, California to preserve and promote the historical significance of Fort Tejon, a former military post in the southern part of the state. The association was founded in 1962 and has since been dedicated to educating the public about the unique history of the fort and the surrounding region.

Fort Tejon was established in 1854 and served as a key military post during the period of western expansion in the mid-19th century. Bell X-1 Full Scale Replica Air Force Flight Test Museum BELL X-1 "Glamorous Glennis" (Full-Scale Replica) On 14 October 1947, Captain Charles E. “Chuck" Yeager flew the experimental "Glamorous Glennis” (named after Yeager's wife) 700 mph at 42,000 feet over the Mojave Desert, becoming the first pilot to fly faster than the speed of sound. The flight demonstrated that aircraft could be designed to fly faster than sound, and the concept of a "sound barrier" crumbled into myth. The replica was built for the Air Force Flight Test Center in 1997 by the Guard Lee Company as a traveling exhibit to celebrate the 50th anniversary of supersonic flight. After much wear and tear on the road, it was faithfully restored by the 412 EMS Corrosion Control Shop. Wingspan: 28 ft Length: 30.9 ft Height: 10.85 ft
Billboard Bomb Air Force Flight Test Museum 100-lb sand-filled M38 practice bombs of this design served training needs at fields like Muroc Army Air Base (now Edwards AFB) during World War II. Some still rest, crumpled and rusted, on ranges east of here. With peace, surplus practice bombs became signs, ashtrays, souvenirs. This one hung in the Test Pilot School at Edwards.
