Orion Riding the Pinnacle The constellation Orion passes over Pinnacle Ridge (~3000 feet ASL) on the South Fork of the Tye River looking southward. This timelapse is 360 frames that took over 3.5 hours to capture. There were a few planes, passing cars behind me, and what looked to be geostationary satellites that light and slowly faded out. This capture finished about one hour before the waning Moon rose. Canon EOS 6DMkII with a EF 24-70mm f/2.8L lens @ F/2.8 and T20 seconds processed in LRTimelapse 6.
