Centre Hill Mansion is a historic house museum located in Petersburg, Virginia. The mansion was built in 1823 for Robert Bolling IV, a prominent lawyer and planter, and his wife Mary. The house is a fine example of Federal architecture with Greek Revival features, and it has been beautifully restored to its original condition.

The mansion features a central hallway, flanked by two parlors, a dining room, and a library. The rooms are furnished with period antiques, including furniture, paintings, and decorative items. The mansion also has a beautiful garden, which includes a formal boxwood garden, a rose garden, and a vegetable garden.

Centre Hill Mansion played an important role in the Civil War. During the Siege of Petersburg, the mansion was used as a headquarters for Union General Horatio Wright. The mansion was also used as a hospital for wounded soldiers.

Today, Centre Hill Mansion is open to the public for tours. Visitors can learn about the history of the house and its occupants, as well as the role it played in the Civil War. The mansion is also available for special events, such as weddings and corporate events.
