Rode down a very steep hill (6-8% grade over 5 miles), said farewell to my new friend Dave near Manchester, and stopped at the train crossing.
Made it over the big hills (which kicked my ass) to Bromley VT!
New friend Dave and I biked up the big hills together. Route 30 closed for construction so we had to detour onto Route 100 then Route 11 toward Manchester
Arrived in Jamaica VT at the end of day 2, about 67 miles and 4000 feet of elevation. Picked up dinner from store/deli near the house of my Warmshowers host.
