Water Moccasin (1) While in the Dallas area we visited a couple of parks. Didn't see a ton of wildlife but did come across this Water Moccasin hanging out right next to the boardwalk at the Heard Museum. I'm not sure why the head was so white like this.

The Farmersville Historical Society is a non-profit organization based in Farmersville, Texas. Violets? I'm not sure what these are. In a few days the entire park will be covered with light purple flowers. With all the rain we've had maybe there will be more this year.
Flowing 10 March 2024 70 of 366 Today was a perfect spring day, and I paused to watch a small stream flowing in the sun. The switch to Daylight Saving time had no effect on gravity or UV rays or the wind. Amazing! Why are humans so afflicted by time? The #real time is in the circadian rhythm and the path the sun appears to take across the sky. For millennia our ancestors marked time by the phases of the moon and the arrival of seasons. These stupid clocks we are slaves to are lying to us.
