The Llano Uplift Archaeological Society (LUAS) is an organization based in Kingsland, Texas, dedicated to the preservation and study of the archaeological heritage of the Llano Uplift region. The Llano Uplift is an area of ancient geologic uplift in the Texas Hill Country, located in Llano and Burnet Counties. LUAS was founded in 1976 by a group of local residents who were interested in learning more about the area's archaeological history.
