I am posting this photo in memory of Joel Crain, a Flickr personality known as The Old Texan who passed away recently. Joel was known for his photos mostly of the Texas countryside and wildlife, along with a large following. Joel's photos typically received dozens of comments and faves, and thus were sometimes featured on Explore. Joel also often commented on my photos and I commented on his photos in kind. Joel Crain's photostream is at www.flickr.com/photos/97737300@N03/.
