Walnut Springs Historical Association is a nonprofit organization located in the small town of Walnut Springs in Texas. The association was founded in 1980 to preserve and promote the town's rich history and cultural heritage. It is run by volunteers who work tirelessly to collect, preserve, and display artifacts and historical documents related to the town's past.

The association's museum is housed in the historic restored Presbyterian Church building, which was built in 1885. The museum features exhibits on the town's Native American history, pioneer life, and the impact of the railroad on the community. One of the highlights of the museum is a replica of the town's first schoolhouse, which was built in 1872.

The association also hosts several events throughout the year, including an annual Pioneer Day celebration, which features demonstrations of pioneer skills such as blacksmithing, quilting, and butter churning. The association also offers educational programs for local schools and community groups.

The bridge was built in 1914 by the Austin Bridge Company for Johnson County. It was bypassed by a new bridge in 2000.
