The Fire Museum of Texas is located in Beaumont, Texas, and is dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of firefighting in the state of Texas. The museum is housed in the former Beaumont Fire Department Central Station, which was built in 1927 and was in use until 1965. The building was then converted into a museum in 1984.

The museum features exhibits that showcase the evolution of firefighting equipment and techniques, including antique fire trucks, hand-drawn hose carts, and early firefighting tools. Visitors can also see a collection of firefighting uniforms, helmets, and badges, as well as interactive displays that demonstrate how firefighters tackle different types of fires.

One of the most popular exhibits at the Fire Museum of Texas is the "Fire Safety House," a simulated home that teaches children about fire safety and prevention. The museum also offers educational programs and tours for school groups and community organizations.

In addition to its exhibits, the Fire Museum of Texas is home to a research library that contains a wealth of information on the history of firefighting in Texas. The museum is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday and admission is free.
