The French John J Museum, located in Beaumont, Texas, is a unique museum dedicated to preserving and showcasing the history of the French-speaking settlers who established the area in the late 1800s. It is the only museum of its kind in the area. The museum was established in 1970 by John J. French and his wife, Elizabeth. It houses a variety of artifacts, photographs, documents, and memorabilia from the French-speaking settlers and their descendants, who settled in the area in the late 1800s and early 1900s.

The museum is located in a two-story building and features exhibits on the history of the French-speaking settlers and their descendants. These exhibits include a variety of photographs, documents, and artifacts from the period, including clothing, furniture, tools, and other items. The museum also features a variety of educational programs and activities for visitors, including lectures, demonstrations, and reenactments.

The French John J Museum is open to the public and admission is free of charge. It is open Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The museum also offers guided tours of the museum and its exhibits, as well as special events, such as lectures and workshops.
