MUSEUM OF NORTH TEXAS HISTORY

WICHITA FALLS, TX

Christmas 1958 Outdoor Decoration My childhood home in Wichita Falls, Texas, decorated for Christmas 1958.

The snowman was made by my parents. My mom traced it on plywood, and my dad cut it. Then my mom painted it and added glitter.

That's me touching the snowman's hand.

As you can tell by the picture, generally we didn't have a white Christmas.
