The Pompeiian Villa in Port Arthur, TX is a historic mansion built in 1929 by local entrepreneur, Thomas L. James. The villa was designed to replicate the grandeur and luxury of the ancient Roman city of Pompeii in Italy. It is a two-story building constructed of brick and stucco, with a red-tile roof and a large central courtyard.

The main entrance to the villa is through a grand porte-cochere, which leads into a sweeping marble staircase and a spacious great room. The great room features 20-foot ceilings, ornate plasterwork, and a large fireplace. The villa has a total of 14 rooms including a formal dining room, a library, a sunroom, and a ballroom with a stage.

The Pompeiian Villa is surrounded by lush gardens, fountains, and statues, which add to the villa's overall grandeur and beauty. The mansion has been restored and renovated over the years, and is now open to the public as a museum, offering visitors a glimpse into the opulent lifestyle of the early 20th century.
