The SCW Schooner Project is a maritime heritage education and conservation project in Anahuac, Texas. It was founded in 2014 with the goal of preserving and educating the public about the history and culture of traditional wooden boatbuilding in the Gulf Coast region. The project is based out of the SCW Schooner Workshop, a workshop dedicated to the traditional art of wooden boatbuilding. The workshop offers courses in wooden boatbuilding, restoration, and other related maritime heritage subjects. The SCW Schooner Project also participates in outreach activities in local schools, museums, and communities to promote and preserve the maritime heritage of the Gulf Coast region.

The SCW Schooner Project has constructed several boats, including a traditional Gulf Coast schooner. The schooner was built using traditional methods and materials, and is a replica of the traditional Gulf Coast schooner. The project has also built several other boats, including a trawler, a fishing skiff, and a sailing canoe. The boats are used for public outreach and educational events, as well as for recreational sailing.

The SCW Schooner Project also promotes the preservation of the maritime heritage of the Gulf Coast region by hosting events such as the Anahuac Wooden Boat Festival, a celebration of traditional wooden boatbuilding and maritime heritage. The festival features boatbuilding demonstrations, lectures, and tours of the workshop, as well as live music, and food and drinks. Chambers County Courthouse (Anahuac, Texas) Historic Chambers County Courthouse in Anahuac, Texas. The courthouse was constructed 1936-37 as a New Deal Public Works Administration (PWA) project. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008 (NRHP No. 08000339) and designated as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 2018.
