The Zapata County Museum is a museum located in Zapata, Texas, that celebrates the history of the Lower Rio Grande Valley region. Established in 1999, the museum consists of three sections, each showcasing the region’s unique history and culture.

The museum’s main exhibit is located in the Zapata County Courthouse. This exhibit features a variety of artifacts and photographs from the county’s founding in 1854 to the present day. Displays include old tools and implements, clothing and photographs from the early days of the county.
