The Nashville Zoo is located in Nashville, Tennessee, and serves as an educational and recreational destination for the entire family. It is home to more than 2,000 animals, representing more than 300 species, including rare and endangered species from around the world. The Zoo is open year-round, and admission is free for children under two.

The Zoo is divided into seven unique animal habitats, including the Grassmere Historic Farm, the Jungle Gym, the African Savannah, the Unseen New World, the Kifaru Ridge, the Joan P. Gentry Animal Encounters Village, and the Wilderness Express Train. Each habitat offers its own unique set of educational and recreational activities for visitors of all ages.

In addition to the animal habitats, the Zoo offers a wide variety of interactive activities and attractions, such as the Wild Animal Carousel, the Kangaroo Bounce, and the Giraffe Feeding Station. The Zoo also hosts a variety of events throughout the year, such as the Zoo Run, the Zoo Lights, and the Zoo Boo.

The Nashville Zoo is committed to conservation, and is actively involved in many conservation projects both in the local community and around the world. These projects include protecting endangered species, preserving habitats, and developing education programs for local schools. The Zoo also offers a variety of educational programs for all ages, from preschoolers to adults.
