The Memphis Orchid Society (MOS) is a non-profit organization based in Memphis, Tennessee, dedicated to the promotion and appreciation of orchids. Founded in 1962, the MOS is a member of the American Orchid Society, the national organization for orchid enthusiasts. The society offers a variety of activities and events that appeal to the novice and experienced grower alike.
Throughout the year, the MOS hosts various educational events and lectures, allowing members to learn about orchids and how to cultivate and care for them. The society also holds several auctions throughout the year, where members can buy and sell orchids.
