Borden Mills textile plant Borden Mills textile plant in Kingsport, TN, USA (1954). Picture made during the visit by a Belgian delegation from the Union Cotonnière. The plant was started in 1924 by the American Printing Company (Fall River, MA) with an employment of 1,200. The mill produced "gray" or unbleached cotton cloth. The plant ceased production in the 1990s and was pulled down in 2012. Photographer unknown.
