The Little River Railroad and Lumber Company was an important part of the history of Townsend, Tennessee. Founded in the late 1800s, the Little River Railroad and Lumber Company was one of the first industries to bring commerce to Townsend. The Little River Railroad and Lumber Company was a privately owned railroad that connected the area to Knoxville, Nashville, Chattanooga, and surrounding cities. The Little River Railroad and Lumber Company operated from 1895 to 1940, and was an important part of Townsend’s industrial and economic development.

The Little River Railroad and Lumber Company was a major employer in the area, creating jobs and providing an important source of income for many local families. The company was responsible for transporting lumber, coal, and other goods to and from the area. The Little River Railroad and Lumber Company also provided passenger service to and from the area, allowing people to travel to other towns and cities for work, recreation, and medical treatment.

The Little River Railroad and Lumber Company was important to Townsend’s development, and was a major contributor to the town’s economy. Although it ceased operations in 1940, the Little River Railroad and Lumber Company is still remembered as a key part of Townsend’s history.

Hobbs & Shaw 1966 Custom Peterbilt Truck Hollywood Star Cars Museum 1966 CUSTOM PETERBILT TRUCK HOBBS & SHAW This tough-as-nails semi is made for long hauls on the highway, but in the final minutes of Hobbs & Shaw, it goes off-road, handling dirt roads with ease during a heart stopping car vs Helicopter chase It probably doesn't hurt that his particular 1966 model was heavily outfitted just for the flick, with huge tires as jutting out on all sides and barely enough ground clearance to get by. Even with all that, the Hobbs & Shaw crew still managed to perform automotive acrobatics in a semi-truck, with jumps and drift turns galore throughout the movies final stretch.
Paul McCartney's 2006 Single Edition Cadillac CTS, 1981 DeLorean Time Machine Hollywood Star Cars Museum 2006 Single Edition Cadillac CTS Driven by Sir Paul McCartney In the summer of 2005 legendary singer, songwriter and former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney entered into an agreement with the Cadillac division of General Motors to build a one-of-a-kind vehicle for his personal use. After Sir Paul McCartney and General Motors built the Single Edition Cadillac CTS, it was licensed and later donated to the, Adopt-A-Minefield charity, which raises funds for minefield clearance and survivor assistance around the world. The car was displayed at the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel who later formally presented it to the charity. Paul McCartney CTS1 Comedian and car collector Jay Leno hosted performances by Sir Paul and singer Tony Bennett, after which all three celebrities autographed the visor in order to enhance the vehicle’s sale value. The auction, which held a special “Rock Edition” event at West Palm Beach, Florida featured such legends as Alice Cooper, Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Michael Anthony (Van Halen), Sammy Hagar, and Bob Seger. At present, the Single Edition Cadillac CTS has a 3.6L VVT engine with five-speed auto-stick transmission, Stabilitrack, an audio system with 6 disc in-dash changer, power sunroof, extensive wood trim, premium paint, Xenon high intensity discharge automatic headlamps, universal home remote, theft alarm system, and more! Then, a number of special features comprising the new “CTS Sport” package were added by the factory: 18” polished aluminum 12 spoke wheels with P225/50R18 W- rated tires, performance-tuned suspension, unique grille combining the mesh used on the CTS-V with bars from the luxury version, redesigned rocker panels, rear spoiler, dual oversize stainless steel exhaust tips, etc. (This package was designed with all the luxury features Cadillac is famous for and is believed to be one of the very first CTS Sport models built.) As an animal rights activist, Sir Paul also directed that no animal products be used in the construction of the Single Edition Cadillac CTS, making this car truly one-of-a-kind. A plaque on the dashboard documents that the car was a “Single Edition” especially built for Sir Paul McCartney. ------------- 1981 DeLorean Time Machine Driven by Michael J. Fox in Back to the Future The year is 1985 and teenager Marty McFly (Michael J. Ghostbusters 'ECTO-1' - 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor Futura Hollywood Star Cars Museum Ghostbusters is a 1984 American supernatural comedy film directed and produced by Ivan Reitman and written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis. It stars Bill Murray (Peter Venkman), Dan Aykroyd (Raymond Stantz), and Harold Ramis (Egon Spengler), a trio of eccentric parapsychologists who start a ghost-catching business in New York City. The Ecto-1 is a 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor Futura Duplex limo-style endloader combination car (ambulance conversion) was used in the 1984 film Ghostbusters and other Ghostbusters fiction. The original vehicle design was the creation of Steven Dane, credited as a Hardware Consultant in the credits.
Fast Five Dodge Charger Hollywood Star Cars Museum Dodge Charger Fast Five - The Fast and the Furious film series Fast Five is the 2011 action film directed by Justin Lin. It is the fifth film in The Fast and the Furious film series and the fourth installment in terms of chronology preceding The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006). The film stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster and Dwayne Johnson. Fast Five follows Brian O’Conner (Walker), Dominic Toretto (Diesel) and Mia Toretto (Brewster) as they plan a heist to steal $100 million from corrupt businessman Hernan Reyes (Joaquim de Almeida) while being pursued for arrest by U.S. DSS agent Luke Hobbs (Johnson). During the development of Fast Five, an effort was made by Universal Studios to move away from the street racing theme prevalent in the previous films. In an attempt to gain a wider audience, the series changed into a heist/action series that utilized the cars instead of focusing on the street racing culture. This Fast & Furious Dodge Charger is the supercharged monster that killed Dom’s father and sealed Dom’s fate as it became the heavy-metal icon of the series. Truly, it’s the one car in the series with staying power. Despite being totaled twice, after being T-boned by a semitruck in The Fast and the Furious and barreling into an underground tunnel wall in Fast & Furious, it’s the one vehicle that keeps reappearing in the series. Dodge is unthinkable. Beyond this symbolism in the series, new life has been added to the workhorse. Some of the changes to the Charger include bigger wheels and tires, better suspension, and better steering. For Fast Five, McCarthy had five versions of the vintage Charger built and modified and the Hollywood Star Cars Museum is lucky enough to be in possession of one. This particular car is one of two used while filming the ending of Fast & Furious and the Fast Five opening sequence, as Brian and the cast free the captured Dom from a prison bus.

2005 Bentley Continental GT Driven by Tyrese in The Fate of the Furious Hollywood Star Cars Museum 2005 Bentley Continental GT Driven by Tyrese in The Fate of the Furious (2017) When the crew learn from Deckard Shaw that Dominic Toretto will be traveling to New York with Cipher, Little Nobody, on the advice of Mr. Nobody who tells them that to catch Dom, the gang needs to be “damn fast”, takes them to a warehouse on the docks that will be their new base of operations. Inside are the seized and repossessed cars taken from drug dealers on the East Coast. After Little Nobody rejects Roman’s appeal to drive a Lamborghini Murciélago, he settles on a Bentley Continental GT. He can then be seen in the background tinkering with the car to chase after Dom, including mounting a harpoon to the roof. After hearing on police scanners that an “army of cars are driving themselves”, the gang immediately recognize this as Dom and Cipher’s work, and chase after him in their cars, including Roman in his Bentley. The gang moves through Times Square before cornering Dom as he tried to escape. Roman chases after Dom, and he and Tej drive through a park, just barely avoiding citizens. The gang eventually trap Dom with harpoons, but through the nitrous oxide system Dom is able to escape and flips Roman’s Bentley. This is the Green Screen Special Effects & Interior shot Car. The Engine and Drivetrain have been removed to make the car lighter for the Green Screen as Roman is Seen flipping upside down.
2015 Subaru BRZ F8: The Fate of the Furious Hollywood Star Cars Museum 2015 Subaru BRZ F8: The Fate of the Furious On the heels of 2015’s Furious 7, one of the fastest movies to reach $1 billion worldwide in box-office history and the sixth-biggest global title of all time, comes the newest chapter in one of the most popular and enduring motion-picture series: The Fate of the Furious. Scott Eastwood appears as Eric Reisner (AKA Little Nobody) and is the right-hand and assistant of government agent Mr. Nobody (Kurt Russell) who helps Dom’s crew to find Cipher. The BRZ looks right at home in a Fast and Furious movie with its Rocket Bunny widebody kit and Toyo Tires. Many of the interior panels were removed to install a full roll cage, racing seats and harness. The production crew built four identical Subaru BR-Zs for the filming, of which three have miraculously survived. We are lucky enough to have one of these vehicles featured in our Gatlinburg car museum Now that Dom and Letty are on their honeymoon, Brian and Mia have retired from the game, and the rest of the crew has been exonerated, the globetrotting team has found a semblance of a normal life.
