The Sam Davis House is a historic mansion located in Smyrna, Tennessee. The house was built in 1820 by Nathaniel Parker, and was later purchased by the Davis family in 1840. The home belonged to the Davis family until 1927, when it was sold to the State of Tennessee and turned into a historic site.
The Sam Davis House is a two-story mansion with a Greek Revival-style architecture. The home has a white exterior with six columns on the front porch. The interior of the home features original furnishings and decor from the 19th century, including antique furniture, paintings, and textiles.
The house is surrounded by 168 acres of land, which includes a historic cemetery and a museum dedicated to Sam Davis, a Confederate soldier who was executed by Union forces during the Civil War. The museum features exhibits about Davis's life and the history of the Civil War in Tennessee.
