Camden Archives and Museum is located in Camden, South Carolina, in the heart of one of the oldest and most historic towns in the state. Founded in 1929, the museum houses an extensive collection of artifacts, documents, and photographs related to the history of Camden and Kershaw County. It is housed in the historic 1903 Camden City Hall and Fire Station, which was also the former home of the Kershaw County Historical Society.

The museum's permanent collection features artifacts related to the Revolutionary War, Civil War, and World War II, as well as documents, photographs, and other materials related to local history. There are also several exhibits that focus on the history of Camden and Kershaw County, from its earliest days to the present.

The museum also hosts a variety of events, including lectures, book signings, and special exhibits. There are also special programs for children and families, including guided tours, hands-on activities, and educational programs. In addition, the museum also offers educational resources for teachers, such as lesson plans and activities.

Camden Archives and Museum is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum entrance fee is $5, with discounts for seniors and children.
