IIT Roorkee Heritage Foundation (IRHF) is a non-profit organization based in Fremont, California. It was founded in 2015 by alumni of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee with the mission of connecting the IIT Roorkee community and facilitating educational, cultural, entrepreneurial and social collaborations. IRHF organizes events such as the Annual Alumni Homecoming, the Annual International Conference and the Student Development Program.

IRHF aims to build a strong network of IIT Roorkee alumni in the Bay Area and beyond. This network of alumni is used to facilitate collaborative projects and social impact initiatives. IRHF also provides career guidance and mentorship for students and alumni.

The foundation has organized a number of events in recent years which are aimed at providing a platform for alumni to reconnect and interact. The Annual Alumni Homecoming is a flagship event of IRHF which brings together alumni from all over the world. The Annual International Conference brings together highly accomplished individuals from various industries to share their experiences and learn from each other. The Student Development Program is a series of workshops and seminars designed to equip students with the skills required to succeed in their chosen field.

IRHF is also involved in various philanthropic initiatives such as the Roorkee Alumni Impact Fund, which provides financial assistance to deserving students in IIT Roorkee. The foundation also works closely with the IIT Roorkee Alumni Association (IRAA) to promote the welfare of students and alumni.

IRHF is a vibrant organization that strives to make a positive impact in the lives of IIT Roorkee alumni, students, and the community at large.

Prepare to be amazed We went to see Hanami, the cherry blossoms at Hakone Gardens, a Japanese garden in Saratoga, California. It was an enchanting experience to walk at night below cherry trees in full blossom, and along bamboo trees. This is the main gate where you enter.

I processed a realistic, a balanced, and a paintery HDR photo from three RAW exposures, blended them selectively, carefully adjusted the color balance and curves, and desaturated the image. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
