Blithewold Mansion, Gardens and Arboretum is located in Bristol, Rhode Island and is a 33-acre estate of gardens, lawns, woodlands, and a 45-room mansion. The estate was built by Augustus and Bessie Van Wickle in the early 1900s and is now a public museum and garden open to the public. The mansion is an example of a shingle-style country estate and is filled with antiques and art collected by the Van Wickles.

The gardens at Blithewold are formal and feature several distinct areas, including a perennial garden, an alpine rock garden, an heirloom vegetable garden, and a woodland garden. The gardens feature a wide variety of plants and trees, including magnolias, rhododendrons, and Japanese maples. There is also an arboretum on the property which contains over 200 species of trees from around the world.

The grounds of Blithewold are open to the public year-round, and the museum and gardens are open for self-guided tours from April through October. Special events such as concerts, lectures, and workshops are held throughout the year. The estate is also available to rent for weddings and other special occasions.
