Beechwood Mansion is a historic estate located in the Bellevue Avenue Historic District of Newport, Rhode Island. Originally built in 1851, the mansion was designed by architect Calvert Vaux for New York City merchant Daniel Parrish. The mansion was later purchased by the Astor family in 1881 and underwent significant renovations, including the addition of a ballroom and a marble staircase imported from Italy.

The mansion features a distinctive Italianate design with a red-brick exterior and a mansard roof. The interior of the mansion boasts ornate decorative elements, including intricate plasterwork, marble fireplaces, and stained glass windows. The ballroom, which is considered one of the grandest spaces in Newport, features a soaring ceiling and elegant chandeliers.

Beechwood Mansion is now open to the public for tours, offering visitors a glimpse into Newport's Gilded Age.
