The Nathanael Greene Historical Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Greensboro, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1998, the Foundation is dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of the life and legacy of Revolutionary War General Nathanael Greene. The Foundation is based at the General Nathanael Greene Homestead, the birthplace and childhood home of Greene, which was purchased by the Foundation in 2002.

The Homestead includes a Visitors’ Center, which is open to the public, and features exhibits focusing on Greene’s life and the Revolutionary War in Pennsylvania. The Homestead also includes the Nathanael Greene Museum, the General’s original home, and a research library. The museum and library are open to the public by appointment.

The Foundation also hosts a variety of educational programs, including lectures, demonstrations, and re-enactments; school field trips; and special events, such as the annual Nathanael Greene Festival. The Foundation also offers a variety of publications, including a book on General Greene, a DVD, and a variety of pamphlets.

The Nathanael Greene Historical Foundation is committed to the preservation of local history and to the education of the public about the life and legacy of General Nathanael Greene. The Foundation offers the public an opportunity to learn about Greene, the Revolutionary War, and the history of the local area.
