The Erie Zoological Society, located in Erie, Pennsylvania, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation and conservation of wildlife. The Society is also responsible for the care and maintenance of the zoo’s facilities, which includes an animal hospital, an education center, and a café. In addition, the Society provides a range of wildlife conservation initiatives, such as the Erie Zoo Conservation Education Program, which focuses on teaching children about the importance of conservation and stewardship of the environment.
The Society also works closely with local, regional, and national organizations to provide support for ongoing conservation efforts and to educate the public about the importance of protecting wildlife and its habitats.
